What does Rosacea Look Like?
Rosacea can present in a variety of ways and symptoms may vary between individuals. Common signs to look out for include:
- Facial Redness – Persistent flushing, especially on the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead
- Visible Blood Vessels – Small broken capillaries often visible just beneath the skin
- Red Bumps & Pimples – Inflammatory spots that can resemble acne but without blackheads
- Dry or Sensitive Skin – A burning or stinging sensation, often accompanied by dryness
- Eye Irritation – Watery, red or gritty eyes (ocular rosacea) which may affect vision if untreated.Â
- Thickened Skin – In some cases, especially on the nose, the skin may become thickened or bumpy over time.Â
