Our Lead Consultant Dermatologist is a highly respected specialist based in Dorchester, with extensive experience across dermatology departments in several district general hospitals, four major teaching hospitals and two different countries. His broad expertise and commitment to excellence ensure that every patient receives the highest standard od care .
Dr Jibu Varghese is a highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist based in Dorchester, with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of skin cancers, advanced laser treatments and cosmetic dermatology. He is also an expert in MOH’s micrographic surgery, hair disorders, dermoscopy, psoriasis, eczema, biological therapies, general dermatology, cryotherapy and wrinkle-smoothing treatments.
Dr Varghese completed his specialist training in Dermatology in the South West of England, followed by intensive advanced training in skin cancer surgery, including MOH’s micrographic surgery, at the prestigious Welsh Institute of Dermatology in Cardiff.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Varghese is actively involved in teaching medical students, postgraduate trainees, dermatology registrars, nurses and GP’s. He maintains a strong commitment to research, collaborative audits and clinical publications, ensuring that his practice remains at the forefront of dermatological innovation and excellence.

I came to Dr Varghese’s clinic with bad acne on my upper body after struggling to get appointments with the NHS and he put me on isotretinoin.
